About the CB Homes for Dogs Project

Between six and eight million dogs and cats enter shelters each year. Plus, almost three million healthy shelter pets are not adopted annually, and only about 30% of pets in homes come from shelters or rescues. These sobering facts are what served as the inspiration the Coldwell Banker Homes for Dogs Project.

For more than 110 years, Coldwell Banker has helped people find homes, and now our mission extends to our furry friends.

By partnering with Adopt-a-Pet.com, North America’s largest non-profit pet adoption website, the Coldwell Banker network has helped to find more than 40,000 dogs their furever homes.

“Event was beautifully organized, location was optimal, friendly help in set-up. Promotion of the event & communication with vendors was great.”

About the Sarnia & District Humane Society

The Sarnia & District Humane Society is a safe refuge offering rescue and relief for animals in need – providing compassionate care, treatment, and rehabilitation. By reuniting lost animals with their families and adopting animals into forever homes, we offer them a second chance at life. We are leaders in the community working with others to eliminate all forms of animal suffering caused by overpopulation, neglect, ignorance, and abuse.

We look forward to the day when we can live in a world that values and respects all animals and cares for them responsibly. Until then, we will use our position of leadership on animal welfare to help work towards that day. We will be the voice for animals in our community – speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves.

“The staff and volunteers are the BEST! I adopted my female Olde English Bulldog from them and she has been such a wonderful addition to our family❤️”
